The peace to sleep, to farm, to travel, and to raise our children without fear, the first duty any government owes the governed.
The reality
Fear on the farm, on the highway and around our schools robs families of the freedom to work and rest. Schools across the state have reported security gaps.
Community structures, including Amotekun, already exist to build on. The cost of fear is not only stolen goods; it is opportunity surrendered.
A word on what this office can and cannot do: security is coordinated at the federal level. I will use every lever available (legislation, funded projects, and sustained advocacy), but I will not promise to command what a senator cannot command.
How I will act
Support legislation strengthening community-policing coordination, rural-security funding and school safety.
Support community-security equipment, solar streetlights on priority commuter and farm routes, and safe-school measures, funded through constituency and security-vote advocacy.
Coordinate with the security agencies, Amotekun and traditional rulers on prevention and early warning. Push federal attention to our rural corridors and schools.
