I do not come to you as a son alone.

I was given a starting point, not a finish line. The rest of the road I have walked on my own feet.

I began my career as an engineer with the Thales Group in the United Kingdom, working on advanced communications systems, before moving into operational leadership and organisational improvement. In time my work in communication and human development drew me into media, leadership development and civic engagement, where I led large teams, built high-performing systems, and delivered projects across the corporate, charitable and faith sectors.

I hold a Master of Engineering in Electronic and Electrical Engineering with Management from the University of Birmingham, and an MBA with Distinction from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School, where I received the Director's Award for the highest overall marks in my Executive MBA class and was later named among the 100 Best and Brightest Executive MBAs globally by Poets & Quants. At the School of Politics, Policy and Governance, I graduated in the pioneer cohort as the Best Graduating Student, taking all three major graduating awards.

Beyond the work, I have tried to give something back. I serve as an ordained minister, mentor and leadership coach, and I have helped govern several organisations through trustee, advisory and non-executive board roles. None of it was accidental. I understand now that every step was preparation for this moment.

For more than twenty years I have used communication as a tool for leadership: moderating conversations, facilitating discussions, and hosting events across civic, corporate and faith communities. That is also where UNMUTE Yourself began, helping ordinary people find their voice. Over time it grew into a larger conviction: that our challenge is not only that people need a voice, but that citizens need to be heard. Leadership is not about speaking for people. It is about building systems where people can be heard.

I believe Nigeria's challenges are, at their root, leadership challenges. Lasting progress asks for dignity for citizens, stronger institutions, accountable governance, real economic opportunity, national unity, and ethical leadership. My idea of public office is rooted in service rather than status, in systems rather than personalities, and in long-term solutions rather than short-term political gain.

The inheritance I value most was not an office. It was a standard: integrity, respect for knowledge, and the conviction that a good name is the most valuable thing a person can ever own.
